The Denver Nuggets have seen a lot of talent over the years. These players are some of the best to play for their franchise and help bring their team to victory.

    Danny Schayes

    Danny played with the Nuggets from 1983 to 1990. In his first season with the team he was the leader in the NBA and averaged 14 points per game. He played hard to help his team become successful.

    Marcus Camby

    Marcus was with the Nuggets from 2002 to 2008. With this team he had several accomplishments. For three years he was named the leader in all of the NBA for blocks as well as the leader for blocks per game. He was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Marcus was also on the NBA All Defensive team four times. He was the eighth all time leader in blocks in the NBA. Many people considered him to be one of the most underrated players in basketball.

    Kiki Vandeweghe

    Kiki was with Denver from 1980 to 1984. He was a two time All Star in the NBA during this time. He used to play hard for the team and would give other players a chance to shine as well.

    Fat Lever

    Fat played with this team from 1984 to 1990. He had several accomplishments with the Nuggets. He was the all time leader in Denver for steals. In all of the NBA he had the fifth all time steals per game. He was also the leader in the NBA for two years. He had several other accomplishments as well. He was a two time NBA All Star and a one time All NBA Selection player. He was also a one time NBA All Defensive Team member. Despite his name ,Fat was anything but fat. He was quick and was a great point guard. He also had the habit of being in the right spot at the right time to get the ball.

    Byron Beck

    He had great accomplishments in his career in the NBA. He played with the team from 1967 to 1977. Byron was so good that when he retired Denver retired the number 40 which was his jersey number. In 1974 he was the ABA leader in the games played that season. He was a two time ABA All Star. He was the eighth all time leader in rebounds.

    Dikembe Mutombo

    Dikembe was with the Nuggets from 1991 to 1996. He is still the all time blocked shot leader for the Denver team. He has the record for the second all time blocked shots in the NBA. He is the ninth player for rebounds in the NBA. He was also the NBA leader for the 1993/94 season. He made the NBA All Star team three times and had several accomplishments in the NBA. He was the Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the All Defensive Team. He averaged 3.8 blocks per game and was one of the greatest defensive players in the NBA.
