 Services à l’enfance et à la famille du Timiskaming Child and Family Services delivers a broad range of programs and supports in the areas of Child Welfare, Youth Justice, Children’s Mental Health, Prevention and Early Intervention, Brighter Futures, Intensive Service Coordination, and Supervised Access. We are leaders in service integration, and are striving relentlessly to design and deliver quality, creative and responsive services for children and families in Northeastern Ontario, that are respectful of diversity and language, and which reflect the needs and aspirations of our citizens. The Agency is comprised of over 160 staff across a number of sites throughout the district, along with foster parents, volunteers and a dedicated Board of Directors.

 The District of Timiskaming is located in the heart of Northeastern Ontario. This area offers charming communities with much to see and do for everyone including all shopping amenities, an affordable real estate market, and accessibility to pursue outdoor recreational activities. 

 Overall the district is one of the most economically diverse areas in Northern Ontario with Mining, Forestry, Tourism, Environmental Services, Government and Professional Services being the major industrial activities. Centrally located to Timmins, North Bay, and Sudbury, all urban amenities are within a short driving distance
